Lol that someone would actually feed these to their kids. We used to make these with our summer camp kids and they loved it. Kids made them for their parents as air freshness for the car. The dough can be a hot on the hands due to the amount of concentrated cinnamon. We bought cheap food grade gloves and had the kids and staff wear them. We also used a straw to poke the hole. We would make them on Monday and send them home thursday and Friday after flipping several times. I’m going to try to make them at home this year with my kids for Xmas and try to oven bake them. I hope by baking it doesn’t burn off some of the yummy smell.

Did this for a p.a. day craft a few years all the kids I was watching loved it. We don’t eat them we hang them on the tree every year. Makes the house smell nice.
